Hopkinsville has many historic landmarks, one of those is the old L&N Railroad Depot.
Hopkinsville Mayor J.R. Knight says that the selling process for the historic depot is under way.
Knight says that along with this, plans for the city’s inclusive park are together, but what they still need is funding.
He explains that the newly opened Bucc-ee’s will be good for Christian County’s tourism.
The mayor also says that to have a successful hospital in Hopkinsville, a trusting community needs to be formed.
Hopkinsville is a ever growing city, but there is still a want for more retail businesses and more people.
