Gary Wayne Bush, 64, of Owensboro, KY died at 10:46 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Skinner officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Pembroke, he was born March 27, 1960, the son of the late Lonzo Whitney Bush and Dora Katherine Harned Bush. He was a tanker truck driver for Max Arnold and Sons and Seay Oil Company. Gary was a great father, grandfather, and brother. He had a strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. He enjoyed reading his bible, NASCAR, and HGTV shows.
In addition to his parents, his siblings preceded him in death: Evelyn Mason, Chester Bush, Lorene Mason, Elsie Littlefield, Bessie Taylor, and Lynn Bush; and his sister-in-law Myra Bush.
Survivors include his daughters: Meagan Bush and Ashley (Jonathan) Tatum; his stepchildren: Sierra (Robert) Yocum, Tera (Tim) Henson, Kassie Johnson, Steven Stapp, and Charlie Stapp; his brothers: Raymond Bush and Joe (Joyce) Bush; his sisters: Donna Bush and Sherry Lile; his sister-in-law: Christine Bush; and his grandchildren: Averie, Aubree, Blake, Kaylinn, Kylee, Tatianna, and Lizzy.
