A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly assaulted a woman over stopping for a restroom Sunday.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 35-year-old Kenneth Evans assaulted a woman after she asked to stop to use the restroom on Cumbee Road.
During the arrest, Evans reportedly kicked a speaker cover in the deputy’s vehicle, damaging it.
He is charged with fourth-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, and second-degree criminal mischief.
