Man Charged With Drug Possession After Request To Check His Welfare

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after he was found passed out in a vehicle on Wooldridge Road Saturday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they found 24-year-old Marcos Perez-Gonzalez passed out in a vehicle in the middle of the road.

A bag of a substance that reportedly tested positive for cocaine was found in his seat along with an empty beer bottle in the car.

He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, DUI, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
