Patricia Stewart Leneave, age 74, of Hopkinsville, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at her home in Hopkinsville,
Born on February 15, 1950, in Trigg County, Patricia was the daughter of the late Clarence & Ruby (Dawson) Stewart.
She was a skilled seamstress who dedicated many years of her life to her craft, working at Flynn Enterprises and Golden Threads.
Patricia married her soulmate, Roger Leneave, on May 3, 1967. In their 57 years of marriage, they raised two daughters and became proud grandparents, and Patricia especially loved her new role as “Gigi” to her great-grandchildren. She and Roger enjoyed doing everything together, fishing, and riding motorcycles, and Patricia was often by his side helping him with anything he was working on.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Leneave; her daughters, Tracy Dye, and Christy Williams, both of Hopkinsville; five grandchildren, Justin Leneave, Jessicia Leneave Bailey, Julie Milton, Charles Howard, II, and Payton Leneave; six great-grandchildren, McKenzie Bailey, Tristan, Giovanni, Xander, and Raelynn Milton, and William Armstrong; two brothers, Sonny Stewart of Hopkinsville and Bobby Stewart (Vicki) of Pembroke, KY; and two sisters, Sandra Mann (John) of Pembroke and Sue Stewart of Hopkinsville.
Funeral services will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, at noon, Thursday, October 3, 2024, with visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Ft. Campbell Blvd in Hopkinsville.
