A traffic stop for speeding led to drug charges for a Cerulean man Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Shane Defevers for speeding on North Drive and found his license had been suspended for DUI.
Police say they could smell the odor of marijuana, and after a search of the vehicle, suspected meth and drug paraphernalia were found.
He was arrested and charged with driving on a DUI suspended license third offense, speeding, and trafficking meth.
