A Hopkinsville man was arrested on a warrant charging him with trafficking fentanyl on Mohawk Trail Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they went to the home looking for 44-year-old Demond Kates who had warrants for trafficking fentanyl second offense and probation violation.
During the arrest, he was reportedly found to have 2 grams of marijuana and a cannabis-infused edible.
He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of synthetic drugs.
The investigation was a joint operation between the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit.
