District 4 Christian County School Board Candidates Debate

From teachers to policies, candidates for the Christian County District 4 Board of Education seat covered it all. Incumbent Rebecca Pepper and challenger Caleb Ballard joined the League of Women Voters for its first round of general election debates.

Questions were solicited from the community and vetted by a panel of League members. The candidates agreed on the need for more teachers and better salaries. However, when asked about their stance on the ballot measure Amendment 2, Ballard said it was not an appropriate forum for the discussion.
