The community is encouraged to come to downtown Hopkinsville hungry Saturday for the annual Christian County Chamber Chili Cookoff.
Chamber Director Taylor Hayes says the Chili Cookoff has a long history in Christian County.
Hayes says the annual event includes chili tasting and a host of other fun activities for families.
Chili teams will begin cooking Saturday morning at Founders Square, with public sampling to start at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. The top teams will win a cash prize and bragging rights.
