Donald “Don” Earl Brake, age 68, of Hopkinsville passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 2:00 PM at Christian Heights United Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Christian Heights United Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Brake was born on December 12, 1955, in Christian County the son of the late Earl Denton and Gwendolyn Jean Farmer Brake. Don worked at White Hydraulics and was a member of Christian Heights United Methodist Church.
His survivors include his wife of 44 years, Cathy Young Brake of Hopkinsville; his son, Eric Glenn Brake of Hopkinsville; and his sister, Brooksie (Harold) James of Little Rock, AR.
