The Hopkinsville Community and Development Services will have a meeting Monday night to hear a zoning proposal concerning a large parcel of land on the east side of Hopkinsville.
According to the meeting agenda, Heltsley Farms is making three zoning requests for 366 acres of unzoned property at 3645 Russellville Road at the southwest corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Way and Russellville Road.
Heltsley Farms is requesting 111 acres be zoned light industrial I-1, 241 acres be zoned Agricultural Transitional District AT-1, and 14 acres be zoned Arterial Commercial District B-4.

The zoning request is one of two items of new business on the agenda for Monday’s meeting, which will begin at 6:00 at the Hopkinsville City Council Chambers.
