Donald Ray Croney, 74, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in Nashville, TN.
Donald, the son of the late John and Dorothy Croney, was born on March 21, 1950, in Christian CO, KY.
Donald was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church and was employed at U.S. Tobacco. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Octavia McCombs Leavinge.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Rhonda Croney; children, Julia Wooden, Angela McKee, Tony (Treevea) McCombs, Bernetta Quisenberry, Alana Poindexter, Michael Croney, and Nicole Croney; siblings, Kathy Johnson, Rose Mary Croney, Readie (Reggie) Morgan, John (Rhonda) Croney, John (Frances) Croney, Jimmy Croney, and Sylva Croney; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 31, 2024, at noon at Gamble Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Thursday morning at 11:00 at the funeral home.
