A drug takeback event held at Walmart in Oak Grove over the weekend brought in a large amount of expired and unused medications.
Oak Grove Police say they collected a total of 9 pounds at the event and 82 pounds over the last six months.
Police thank the community for its help and remind everyone unused and expired medications can still be dropped off at the Oak Grove City Hall location.
