The playground at West Cadiz Park will be closed to the public through November for a major renovation project.
Work to replace the playground equipment and renovate the playground area began Monday morning, with Cadiz Mayor Todd King saying the project will take more than a month to complete.

click to download audioWest Cadiz Park is the property of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and is maintained through a partnership between the Corps and the City of Cadiz. In addition to the playground area, the park includes a picnic pavilion, picnic tables, restrooms, a boat launching ramp, and fishing benches.
