The Christian County Board of Elections will conduct a hand-to-eye count of the votes cast in a randomly selected race following next week’s election.
County Clerk Melinda Humphries says every county in the state will see Secretary of State Michael Adams randomly select the race and the scanner that will be the subject of the audit.
click to download audioThe audit will occur at 9:00 on Thursday morning, November 7th at the Christian County Justice Center.
Early voting in Christian County continues through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the James Bruce Convention Center; the Senior Citizens Center on West 7th Street; and the Boys & Girls Club on Walnut Street.
Christian County Clerk Melinda Humphries said over 3,000 people had checked in to vote on Thursday at the three voting centers.
