A Hopkinsville man was injured in a wreck on Dawson Springs Road in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a northbound car was stopped turning into a driveway when a second northbound car driven by 22-year-old Jayden Weaver attempted to go around the first vehicle as they were turning, clipping it. Police say Weaver’s car ran off the road, striking a porch, before stopping in a church parking lot.
Weaver was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for back pain. The crash happened at the intersection of Dink Embrys Buttermilk Road.
Weaver was cited for operating on a suspended or revoked license and failure to maintain required insurance.
