For the second time in as many years, the Trigg County Special Olympics have brought home a state championship.
Trigg County’s flag football team competed in the Special Olympics of Kentucky State Championship on Sunday at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester.
Trigg defeated the Louisville Wizards 48-28 in the semifinals and beat the Louisville Thunder 28-18 in the championship game.
Trigg County coach Tayler Ramey says he had a good team of Olympians to lead.
