A duplex on Spring Street in Pembroke was destroyed in a fire Friday afternoon.
Pembroke Fire Department Chief Nick Blair says the fire is believe to have started with an outlet and quickly spread to the attic.
Everyone was able to get out uninjured but a cat in the duplex has not been located.
The duplexes located at 449 Spring Street.
Pembroke firefighters were assisted by Fairview, Honey Grove, and Oak Grove fire departments.
