Funeral Services for 82 year old Alberta Thim of Cadiz, KY will be Wednesday, November 13, at 6:00 PM at Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc. in Cadiz, KY.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Alberta Carneglia Thim, age 82, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.
She was born on June 14, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Orlando & Anna Marmero Carneglia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Carneglia.
Alberta retired as an accountant from Crown Cork & Seal Co. in her hometown of Philadelphia, and upon moving to Kentucky, she later shared her skills in the offices of Murray State University.
Married to her beloved husband, Gustav "Gus" Thim, III, for 50 years until his passing in 2017, Alberta shared an extraordinary journey with him. Together, they rode motorcycles, traveled to new destinations, and enjoyed boating along the waterways of the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers, navigating the scenic routes of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Alberta is survived by her son, Jason Smith (Ann) of Philadelphia, PA; her sister, Florence Enoch of Philadelphia; her niece, Colette Enoch, and her nephew, Joseph Enoch. Alberta's presence will also be deeply missed by her beloved dog, Buddy, who was a constant companion and source of joy in her life.
