George Francis, age 72, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, at his home.
He was born on February 21, 1952, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to the late George & Maude Masters Francis. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Earline Brill.
George spent his career in the service of others, working as a clerk in various retail establishments, including motels and convenience stores.
In his spare time, George could often be found enjoying the great outdoors, a testament to his love for nature and animals. He particularly enjoyed groundhog hunting and spending time with his family playing miniature golf and eating out.
He is survived by his devoted caregiver, Rochelle Workman of Cadiz; his sons, Josh Francis of Cadiz and David Francis of Siloam Springs, AR; two grandchildren, Tobias Francis and Lyndi Adrianna Francis; his brother, Rayburn Francis of Hopkinsville; his sister, Brenda Critchfield of Madisonville, KY; and a nephew, Jeremy Jackson of Todd County, KY.
There will be no services at this time.
Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, is in care of arrangements.
