A select group off FFA leaders from Western Kentucky were honored for their accomplishments Monday night by being named FFA-All Region Stars at Murray State University.
The All Region Star awards were handed out by Kentucky FFA Purchase Region State Vice President Ty Elrod, Pennyrile State Vice President Noah Mallory, and Lincoln Trail State Vice President Mary Brooke Stith.
Among those receiving All Region Star Awards were Jennie Watts and Jamie Hestand from Trigg County. Cheyenne Rodgers and Trinitie Ferrel were honored from Christian County FFA. Hopkinsville FFA’s Mollie Goode and Laura Kaufman were named All Region Stars. From Todd County Meredith Carter and Mollie Skipworth were honored. And Caldwell County’s Daniel Laurent, Whitley Carter, and Harper Ritchie received All Region Star honors.
Featured speaker for the dinner and ceremony was Calloway County farmer and past Kentucky Farm Bureau Second Vice President Sharon Furches, who challenged the students to have confidence in themselves.
