Dudley Hardy, age 79, of Cerulean, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital of natural causes.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Monday, December 2, 2024. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Dudley was born on July 28, 1945, in Hopkinsville, the son of the late James Calvin and Emily Boyd Hardy. He was a farmer and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Fairy Lacy Hardy on October 29, 2024; his sister, Barbara Gray; his granddaughter, Misty Quarles; and his great-granddaughter, Lexie Trump.
Survivors include his son, James Edwin Hardy, of Danville, KY; his daughter, Kim Hardy of Cerulean, KY; his brother, Robert (Carol) Hardy of St. Augustine, FL; his sister, Joyce (Bob) Eddy of Spring Hill, TN; and his great-grandson, Gabe Quarles.
