
A Hopkinsville man was charged with punching and hitting a coworker with a rubber mallet Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Metalsa for a disturbance and found that 25-year-old Keonte Lamar had punched his supervisor while they were calling for security, then hit another employee with a rubber mallet before fleeing the area.
He was located by a law enforcement K9 hiding inside a container on the property and was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault.
