New Pennyrile District Health Department Director Ashley Tyler says she wants to build on some existing programs and return services to pre-COVID levels.
Tyler says she was honored to be named the new Director last Thursday by County Judge-Executives from Trigg, Caldwell, Lyon, Livingston, and Crittenden Counties.
Tyler says working with current Director Aleisha Kite has been a rewarding experience.
She says one of her goals is to continue build programs in the community and schools.
Tyler says another area she will focus on will be young families.
She says the HANDS program is also very important.
Tyler currently serves as the Assisstant Director at the Pennyrile District Health Department that oversees public health services in Caldwell, Lyon, Trigg, Crittenden, and Livingston Counties.
