A Cadiz man was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Caledonia Road Tuesday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Zach White says he stopped a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Robert Crabtree for his license plate not being illuminated and found he had a suspended license, no insurance, and 24 active cases out of Marshall County where he failed to appear.
After suspected meth was reportedly seen in the floorboard, a search of his vehicle and belongings led to the discovery of several individual baggies of suspected meth, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, operating on a suspended or revoked license, rear license plate not illuminated, no registration plate, and failure to maintain required insurance.
