Adam Hayes, 43, of Elkton, went home to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 2, 2024, at his home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Lamb Funeral Home with Curtis Lear officiating. Burial will follow in New Ebenezer Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2024 at the funeral home.
A native of Leominster, MA, he was born July 15, 1981, the son of Carlton “Bud” Hayes and Paulette (Cormier) Hayes.
Adam was the owner and operator of Hayes Construction and a taxidermist. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.C. “Red” Hayes and Bertha White; and his maternal grandfather, Herve Cormier.
Survivors include his parents, Carlton “Bud” and Paulette Hayes, Elkton, KY; his sisters, Angela (Brian) Steele and Lisa (Jamil) Acree, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandmother, Marie Cormier; his nephews, Joshua Steele, Jonah Steele, Joseph Steele, and Malachi Acree; his nieces, Lydia Steele, LuAnna Acree, Ameerah Acree, and Laura Steele; and a host of devoted aunts, uncles, and cousins.
