Elizabeth Coleman, 82, of Hopkinsville

Elizabeth Ann Cayce Coleman, 82, Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Dawson Springs,

Elizabeth, the daughter of the late Edward Cayce, Sr. and Julia Ann Cayce, was born on March 18, 1942, in Christian County.

Elizabeth was a member of Queen Ann Baptist Church where she played piano, a member of the Culinary Committee, Sunday School, and Bible Study, Outreach Ministry. She was an active member of Circle #5 Mission Worker, a member of the 1st District Women Missionary Educational Convention Choir, and a grandparent for MLK Public School.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing Bingo, dancing, and cutting up. She was a member of Christian Women Around the Clock, Gospel Messengers in Greenville, South Carolina, and a member of O.C.C. She was the pianist for numerous churches since she was 10 years old; Moores Baptist, Durrett Avenue, New Asia, Mt. Vernon, and Queen Ann, just to name a few.

In addition to parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Curtis Davis, Robin Ray, and Leonard L. Davis, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Paulette (Pastor Robert) Jones, Ronnie (Margaret) Davis, and Jerris J.C. (Marie) Coleman; sister, Dorothy Crutchfield; 26 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at noon at Gamble Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Saturday at 10:00 at the funeral home.
