An apartment complex on West End Street in Cadiz was damaged in a fire Saturday night.
Cadiz Fire Department Chief Josh Holley says a fire started in the kitchen of one of the apartments causing severe damage and leading to smoke and water damage to three other apartments in the building.
No one was injured in the fire but everyone in all eight apartments will be temporarily displaced due to the fire and the power having to be disconnected.
Cadiz Firefighters were assisted by Montgomery and East Golden Pond fire departments along with the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office and Cadiz Police.
