Humphries Says County Moving On From Prospective Spec Building Buyer

When county officials announced last month that the prospective buyers for the Cadiz I-24 Business Park Spec Building were putting their plans on hold until further notice, there was some discussion that the unnamed company could revisit their decision.

However, Trigg County Judge-executive Stan Humphries says that is no longer the case.

click to download audioTrigg Fiscal Court has made the interest payments on the property and approved TVA’s Regional Development Agency Assistance Program funds totaling more than $153,000 to be allocated for the project. Humphries says that paid interest will eventually be reimbursed, once a company buys the building and completes its 120-day letter of intent.
