A Louisville man was charged after a fight with family members on East 17th Street Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a disturbance and found that 33-year-old Keshane Redmon had gotten into a fight with a family member and then used a butcher knife in an attempt to cut one of them while threatening to kill them.
The two family members were reportedly able to get out of the home and tried to drive away when he tossed a brick, hitting their vehicle.
He was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree assault, third-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and first-degree criminal mischief.
