Funeral services for 84-year-old Kenneth Ray Hale, of Cerulean, will be 10 AM Thursday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Wednesday.
Survivors include:
His wife of 64 years, Sara Hancock Hale, of Cerulean;
His sons, Bruce (Marcella) Hale, of Cerulean, and David Ray (Kathy) Hale, of Cerulean;
His daughter, Sherry (Mike) Gamble, of Cerulean;
His sister, Janet Glass, of Hopkinsville;
And his grandchildren, Seth (Brenna) Gamble, Morgan (Austin) Lacy, Sydney (Duncan) Smith, Payton (Luke) Ferrell, and Lucas Gamble.
He died Monday, December 16, 2024, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
He was born March 29, 1940, in Christian County, the son of late Clarence and Nora Poindexter Hale.
He was a farmer and retired from US Tobacco Company. He was a lifetime member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church where he was a deacon and trustee for over 50 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Jean Hensley and Margaret Croft.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Gideon Camp.
