A Hopkinsville woman wanted on active warrants fled from law enforcement on Clay Street Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Barbara Clark for going the wrong way on a one way and she fled reaching speeds of around 50 mph.
She reportedly failed to stop at several stop signs before the pursuit came to an end at the Valero gas station on East 9th Street with law enforcement blocking her vehicle in.
During the pursuit, Police say she cut through a church parking lot with people walking in the lot. She is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment and more charges are pending.
Clark had active warrants for probation violation.
