Eddie Hudson, age 72, of Hopkinsville, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at his home of natural causes. Graveside Services at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, TN, with Rev. Paul Bunger officiating, will be immediately following the Visitation time on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The family has entrusted Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Hudson was born in Jackson, Michigan, on July 2, 1952, the son of the late Ed Hudson and Ruby Nell Sanford Thomas. Eddie was a life insurance agent for Lincoln Life and American General. He was a veteran in the National Guard. He attended Olivet Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Martha “Martie” Jean North.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Sara Allen Hudson, of Hopkinsville; his sons, Ashtyn (Robin) Hudson of Hopkinsville and Scott Hudson of Frankin, TN; his four grandchildren, Seth Hudson, Alex (Rich) Mazurek, Lucas Hudson, and Kamryn Hudson; and his two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jamason Mazurek.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Wounded Warriors.
