She retired from E-Systems/Raytheon as an Administrative Assistant.
She was a member of Southside Church of Christ and was a member of the Ladies Bible Class at both Southside and Hopkinsville Church of Christ. She was a lifetime member and served as the VFW Auxiliary Club 1913, local President and held the office of District President for several years.

She made friends wherever she went. Her smile and her warm heart were an encouragement to many. Above all else, Barbara was a baptized Christian.
