Phillip Person, 66, Guthrie, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Phillip, the son of the late Willie and Amanda Person, was born on February 7, 1958, in Montgomery County, Tennessee.
Phillip was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed as a Welder with Kopper’s Ind. Guthrie, KY. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, corn hole, shooting pool, listening to music, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Darlene” Person; brother, Willie K. Person.
He is survived by his son, Phillip Michael Person; and sister, Theresa Trotter.
Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 4, 2024, at noon at the St. Paul Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Rest Lawn Cemetery in Cedar Hill, Tenn.
Visitation will be on Saturday morning at 11:00 at the church.
