Shoplifting Complaint Leads To Drug Charges For Nashville Woman

A Nashville woman was charged with possession of drugs after a report of a shoplifter at the Huck’s Gas Station on East 9th Street on December 21st.

Hopkinsville Police say 33-year-old Latisha Rice was taking several items from the gas station without paying for them, and when law enforcement arrived, she gave false identification information to them.

After being arrested and taken to jail, she was reportedly found to have a bag of cocaine in her possession.

She was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, possession of cocaine, giving officers false identifying information, and first-degree promoting contraband.
