Christian County Begins 4-Year Facilities Plan Process

No one spoke at the public forum for the Christian County School District’s Local Planning Committee.

Tuesday night, twenty stakeholders met for the first time to learn about their role in planning for the school district over the next four years. District attorney, Jack Lackey facilitated the meeting telling members the District Facilities Plan they would come up with will guide officials for the next few years.

click to download audioIndian Hills Assistant Principal Matt Francies agreed with both her assessments, adding they are seeing leaks in their building. A space for pumping staff and students was brought up as well as a larger performing arts center.

David Wimpy was elected as Chairperson for the committee, with Mark McGee elected as Vice Chair. The Local Planning Committee will meet again at the beginning of February.
