The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for a good chunk of the day Tuesday.
According to forecasters, frigid wind chills as low as 5 to 9 degrees below zero are expected most of the day.
If unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures, frostbite and hypothermia can occur quickly.
