Genesis Express’ annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. march looked a little different this year. The event was moved indoors due to weather, but the spirit and excitement of attendees never faded.
The theme for the 29th annual event was “Keeping the Dream Alive During These Changing Times.” Genesis Express president, George Radford, began the program with his Why We March speech.
Mrs. Tanya Campbell Boyd was a 1975 graduate of Trigg County High School and is a member of Second Baptist Missionary Church in Cadiz. While she currently resides in Hopkinsville, Boyd says her heart and home is still in Trigg County. She was selected to be the guest speaker during the service and gave encouraging words to attendees young and old.
In closing, Boyd shared the principles by which Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. lived by and she encouraged others to live the same.
Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church came alive with praise and song. Genesis Express thanks everyone who attended and they cannot wait to begin bringing service and love to the community in 2025.
