Dantzler “Dance” Izard Brunswick, a native of Alabama, passed away Monday, January 20 at the age of 64 following a courageous battle with cancer.
An outgoing woman, she loved to help people, had been active in the Distinguished Young Woman program, loved Mardi Gras, and was dedicated to her family. She worked for many years in rehabilitation counseling before becoming a travel agent, where she designed affordable vacations for families.
Dantzler met her husband George while they were members of the Jaycees serving the community. They loved Ohio State Football, traveling, and spending time with their family.
Dantzler is survived by her husband of 28 years, George, daughter Catherine, son-in-law Daniel Davis, and grandson, Otilio.
Visitation will be held at 10 AM on Friday, January 24, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am, at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home, 2504 S Virginia St. Hopkinsville KY 42240.
