A traffic stop at the Sleep Inn in Oak Grove led to drug charges for an Illinois man Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Fred Pullum and found him to have a suspended driver’s license, a false license plate, no registration information, and no proof of insurance.
During the stop, he reportedly tried to dispose of evidence leading to meth, a meth pipe, fake urine, and torch-style lighters being found in his possession.
He was arrested and charged with possession of meth, driving on a suspended revoked license, failure to maintain required insurance, improper registration plate, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
