Mr. Gary Wilburn Blake age 74 of Hopkinsville, and formerly of Allegre, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 9:50 a.m. Committal services will be Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY with Rev. Fred Harrison officiating
Mr. Gary was born on January 30, 1950, in Allegre, KY. He was retired Civil Service at Fort Campbell, KY where he was Director of the Electric Shop. Gary was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was a member of the Hopkinsville VFW, American Legion, Elks, and NRA. He loved to ride 4-wheelers, shoot guns, and be outside with his dog Sue. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilburn Blake and Berta Mae Jones Blake, and his sister Vivian Higgins.
He is survived by his son Jody Blake of Hopkinsville, KY, his daughters Jennifer Watson and her husband Jeff of Russellville, KY, and Jessica Leek and her husband Bryan of Hopkinsville, KY, 7 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
