Authorities temporarily blocked off Younglove Street in Hopkinsville due to a gas leak Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville emergency personnel say a large dumpster struck the gas line to a home causing a leak.
The leak has been stopped and the road was reopened just before 3 pm.
