A Bowling Green woman was charged with theft of identity after a traffic stop on Walnut Street in Hopkinsville Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say at 9:44 pm they stopped a vehicle for improper display of a registration plate and during the stop, 40-year-old Amy Myers used her niece’s name and social security as her own.
She was arrested and charged with theft of identity and found to have three warrants out of Warren County for theft by unlawful taking.
