Funeral services for 79-year-old Dallas Everett “D.E.” Brawner, of Hopkinsville, will be 11 AM Friday at Lamb Funeral Home.
A private family burial will follow in the Bronaugh Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-7 PM Thursday.
Survivors include:
His son, Jimmy Wayne Jones, of Louisville;
His daughters, Misty (Jeff) Brawner Green, of Hopkinsville, and Christy (Billy) Brawner Thomas, of Cadiz;
His grandchildren, Gunnar Jones, Grayson Jones, Alayna McGregor, Brandi Green, Dallas Ray Green, Amber Thieneman, Chelsie Cusick, C.J. Alexander, and Grayson Dane;
And his great-grandchildren, Jaden, Savannah, Leah, Lana, Cayden, Peyton, Addy, Anna, and Willow.
David Spears is officiating.
Brawner died of natural causes Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville.
A native of Hopkinsville, he was born June 2, 1945, the son of the late Stanley Clayton Brawner and Bess (Austin) Clardy.
Dallas was the owner and operator of Brawner Furniture. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first his wife, Relda Lou Hardison; his second wife, Brenda Brawner; his brothers, Stanley Brawner and Mike Brawner; his sisters Nora Clardy and Betty Spurlin.
