An investigation into a fraudulent operator’s license and credit card used at a Hopkinsville business led to several charges for an Ohio couple Tuesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say at 4:20 am they went to the hotel room of 25-year-old Domonique Nicholson and 26-year-old Michael Moore after they used a fraudulent operator’s license and credit card at Car Connection to purchase a vehicle.

Marijuana, a credit card embossing machine, and fictitious credit cards were reportedly found in the room.

They were both arrested and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, possession of marijuana, and first-degree unlawful access to a computer.

Nicholson was also charged with display or possession of a canceled or fictitious operator’s license.
