A parking problem on Crosscreek Road in Trigg County led to several charges for a Cadiz man Wednesday morning.

Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called for a complaint of vehicles parking on private property, and when they attempted to talk with 44-year-old John Arnoldussen, he stated, “I don’t talk to the police.”.

The deputy then reportedly went back to talk more with the property owner that the vehicles were parked on, and she claimed they had parked on her property several times.

Deputies say when they returned to Arnoldussen and a second man about the vehicles, Arnoldussen told the other man to stop talking and started recording and yelling.

He then reportedly stated he could not hear the deputy and started yelling to get off his property when the deputy got closer to him.

Deputies say he was asked to quiet down several times before he was arrested for disorderly conduct and began to stiffen up and not comply with the orders to put his hands behind his back.

He reportedly claimed he was being assaulted and went limp while walking to the deputy’s vehicle and had to be helped up by the deputy and the second man.

Deputies say he was checked out by EMS and cleared but wanted to go to the hospital, so he was transported to the hospital, where he kept raising his voice, cursing, and causing a disturbance with children in the area.

He is charged with failure to notify an address change to the Department of Transportation, resisting arrest, and first- and second-degree disorderly conduct.
