Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet have announced the arrival of a new traffic camera that’s been installed and brought online earlier this week.
It’s located in Lyon County, at the I-24 Exit 42 Interchange with I-69.
Visitors to goky.ky.gov, where it, and others in western Kentucky, can be viewed by the public — in order to check for potential hazards, road conditions or other self interests.
They are also used to monitor traffic speeds in work zones, and each camera updates with a new image every two minutes.
