A traffic stop on Cox Mill Road led to a short pursuit and a stolen vehicle being recovered Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a car at Cox Mill Road and Pyle Lane intersection shortly after 2:00 am when the driver fled.
The pursuit ended on Cox Mill Road at Gary Lane, with the car running off the road.
Police say the driver fled on foot and has not been located but the car was recently reported stolen out of Nashville.
