The Christian County Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday the hiring of Audrey Stewart as its next assistant membership services coordinator.
A Hopkinsville native, she recently graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in merchandising, apparel & textiles and marketing, and she is expected to bring fresh perspectives and commitment to local businesses, while fostering community connections.
In a written statement, Stewart said returning home after graduation only invigorates her “passion for this community,” and that she’s eager to work alongside others who share the same commitment to creating positive change and growth in Hopkinsville and Christian County.
According to Chamber President/CEO Taylor Hayes, Stewart will focus on enhancing membership engagement, support Chamber initiatives, while ensuring that local businesses receive the resources and advocacy they need to thrive, and her background in marketing and textiles, combined with her enthusiasm for community development, already makes her a valuable asset to the Chamber and its members.
